Fixing an Advanced Search Feature

The user needs to browse the data catalog to find assets to aid in their asset selection journey.
1. The user chooses the “Advanced Search” option.
2. They can customize the search criteria according to their needs.
3. The system provides real-time feedback and updates the search results.
4. The user can refine their search iteratively until they find the desired data.
5. Once they have selected a medical data asset, they can access it for review, analysis, or inclusion.
The client's brand colors are typically dark blue, green, and gray. A design system that follows branding guidelines will use these colors across all design elements for consistency and professionalism, reinforcing the brand identity.
We added an Advanced Search feature for medical professionals with customizable filters for medical entities and keywords, and improved the user interface for a better search experience.
Based on user interviews, business goals, and evaluations, I designed wireframes. Users can access the Data Asset View and select a data asset to view its details from the Data Asset List. Within the Data Asset Details, users can customize and apply filters as needed.
Advanced search feature filters entities based on user-selected criteria to find data assets by name. Multiple ideations and designs were considered before the final version was chosen.
Our system can provide at least a 20% ROI by saving time, reducing errors, boosting productivity, increasing satisfaction scores, lowering labor costs, and increasing revenue.
