Mobile App Design for tracking Medication and Appointment Setting
The Challenge
The client required an app for diabetic patients to track their medication and medical devices, with an easy sign-up process and a system for monitoring their health data. Managing medication, appointments, and calendar events can be challenging for medical patients, and tracking this data can be time-consuming. I came to help improve the usability and efficiency of a new medical app to solve this problem.
Responsibilities, Pain Points and Problems
Competitive Analysis
We contacted doctors and patients to understand their tracking needs and conducted a survey to gather additional data. I also researched and found studies that helped identify pain points and user problems.

User Journey Design
Sketching
The first step creating the app was to draw out ideations of the approach for the user and how the creation of account will update the Admin Section.

Prototype & Progress
I generated high-level designs and made the app user-friendly for prescribers, patients, and caregivers. Then, I created a low-resolution mockup for team discussions and stakeholder meetings. We then decided on this flow to show the client. The client was super excited.

Spreading its wings
Even though I wasn’t present during the product launch, it appears that it received excellent press coverage. It’s satisfying to witness a product being released into the market after extensive research, planning, and testing. It’s like watching it spread its wings and soar high.
